In order to prepare for the last minute mugging, I abandoned my lappy at home, mugged for 6 hours straight, and is now at the computer centre to slack for 2 hours lol

I dunno… I don’t want to flunk the paper, that’s my only goal.

What? I promised myelf to get min B for this sem last sem? oh… But Digitial Comms gone already… haha…

But somehow I’m still hoping for a CAP above 3 when I graduate.

The feeling now is so surreal. There is almost no one down here, in school. As far as I know, there are 3 papers tomorrow, the last 3 papers. cos I met 2 other friends taking different modules which have their exams tomorrow.

oh so sad…

Just had dinner with FAT. haha… Only for 1 hour, sad to say. But well, we MAY have chances to meet in the future what…

Actually my days are in a blur lately. I can’t even recall what I did for yesterday, barely. My mind is on tomorrow, Sunday, next week’s start of EE2001…

You know what? They actually have this online quizzes on lab safety that we are supposed to take until we pass all of them, then we can ballot for the submission date of the project.

I don’t know if it’s newly implemented, but I think it’s bull-shit. No one in NUS cares about safety; my memories of the digital lab was only rows and rows of computers. We tested circuits with 12V batteries. hmmm… If there were 10 people in the lab, each with 2 12V batteries connected in series, we may get shocked with 240V of electricity — same as that from our power sockets!!

Maybe that’s why.

I haven’t taken the test, but I guess one of the questions to be: How many people can be in the lab at any one time??

Anyways, deferment still haven’t settle. I intend to go office next Monday, after the briefing, to see how. Maybe forget about the report-OC-to-CO part, submit straight away. At most MP letter. I mean, is SAF going to pay me for the extra sem that I have to take for making me miss my demo presentation?

No, actually I don’t think they would.

Most probably someone will just call me and say, ‘Too bad, there’s no SOP on this. You continue to make noise, we will charge you.’

Anyways, during dinner just now, zin said something her kid bro said, which made me think he is a very talented person. In fact, I have the intention of keeping him as a disciple of The Invincible zenov Sect. Shall find some way to sneak into zin’s home to make contact with my potential disciple/successor.

Actually just now, (sorry, when I have no PC to touch, I blank out and think a lot) I thought I am rather talented. haha… All my NUS days, I planned my studying such that I spent the last 6 hours doing past year papers.

You know, other people finish doing past year papers in reading week, and compare answers liaoz.

Maybe that’s the reason why I didn’t get an A (but that doesn’t explain my getting a B+ for French… hrmmpf!!), and maybe I can use this to reply employers.

Did I mention this?

When I went to SSMC for interview, the interviewer asked, ‘I can’t understand why a Hwa Chong student didn’t score 3.0 and above. You guys should have 2nd upper what.’

I didn’t know how to answer that lah.

It gets philosophical, you know.

For someone who cared to ask about results, and making it clear that he is looking for good academic results, it’s hard to explain that life is not all about academic results.

ah…

Anyways, she rejected me right from the start liaoz. Guess convincing her to believe in philosophical answers wouldn’t help.
